The Menu Button SCHEDULES will take you to the CPR (BLS), ACLS or PALS Schedules.  If you have six (6) or more participants, we can schedule a class at your location.  All of our classes are open to all applicants subject to class limits.

Definitions:

​

BLS Provider (formerly HealthCare Provider) - Includes one rescuer and two rescuer techniques for adult, child and infant using mouth-to-mouth, mouth-to-mask and bag-valve mask ventilation.  Hands on practice with an AED (automated external defibrillator) is also included.  Obstructed airway techniques for conscious and unconscious adult, infant and child are also included.  This course includes manikin practice and written evaluation.

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.  This is generally taught to hospital and doctors offices.  It is an emergency medical procedures in which basic life support efforts of cardiopulmonary resuscitation are augmented by establishment of an IV fluid line, possible defibrillation, drug administration, control of cardiac arrhythmias, endotracheal intubation, and use of ventilation equipment.

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support.  This is generally taught to hospitals and doctors offices.  It is an emergency procedure taught in a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics.

HeartSaver CPR - Basic life support course that includes one-rescuer CPR for the adult, child and infant using mouth-to-mouth ventilation and mouth-to-mask ventilation.  Also, included are techniques for obstructed airway for the conscious and unconscious adult, child and infant.  This courses includes manikin practice and a written evaluation.  This course meets the state requirement for daycare providers.

HeartSaver AED - Basic life support course with AED (automated external defibrillator) practice.  This course may be adult only or include pediatric techniques.

First Aid - This course teaches rescuers to recognize and treat medical, injury and environmental emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS arrives.  This course can also include HeartSaver Adult CPR, Pediatric CPR and AED training.
